Six Chinese tire brands make it onto the 2025 Global Top 25 Tire Brands list

The recent release of the “2025 Global Top 25 Tire Brands” list by Brand Finance, an internationally renowned brand valuation agency, brought good news for China's tire industry. Among them, the Chinese brand Sailun successfully broke into the top ten, ranking tenth, with a brand value of US$905 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 13.0%, making it the most prominent Eastern star on the list.

Sailun's inclusion in the rankings is a testament to the growing competitiveness of China's tire manufacturing industry on the global stage, demonstrating that Chinese tire companies' sustained investments in brand building are gradually translating into tangible market recognition and international reputation.

Following Sailun, several other Chinese tire companies also made the list, including Giti (Singapore, 9th, controlled by mainland Chinese capital), Linglong Tire (China, 12th), Sentury Tire (China, 19th), CST/Maxxis Tire (Taiwan, 22nd), Guizhou Tire (China, 24th), and Triangle Tire (China, 25th). This clearly illustrates a collective upward trajectory for China's tire industry, no longer merely synonymous with the “world's factory,” but accelerating toward the mid-to-high end of the global value chain.

From low-end manufacturing to brand value enhancement, China's “smart” tire manufacturing is gaining increasing favor in international markets.
